[Apr 25 2019]   Community Field Work Day - rescheduled to 4/28

Field Day Sunday 4/28 2:00-4:00 at Marge Jones in Rockport

Little League is a community organization and it takes the whole community to prepare our fields for use each year. Each player and a parent/guardian is expected to join in this league wide effort on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 at Marge Jones field in Rockport.

In addition to your participation, please bring as many of the following items as you can to aid in the clean up:

- Dirt rakes
- Spring/Leaf rakes
- Wheelbarrows and/or tarps to haul material
- A broom or two to sweep dugouts/sheds

- An extension ladder

- a Drill / powerdriver

Mother nature has not been helping us get outside and use the fields, but with your help we can still make sure that the first games of the season start on time.

See you Sunday!

Barrett Brown - Five Town Little League Majors Rep

[Apr 23 2019]   Community Field Work Day (Weather Permitting)

We're focused on the weather forecast before we update news on this Saturday's Community Field Clean-Up at each of our three main fields.

Weather permitting, we will hold a COMMUNITY FIELD CLEAN-UP DAY - Saturday, April 27, 2019, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. At our three fields: Marge Jones Field (Rockport), Lincolnville LL Field (Lincolnville), and True Park (Hope). Minors baseball families should focus on True Park. Majors Baseball folks can work at either Lincolnville or Marge Jones. Softball folks (except those with a 4/27 game) should come out to Marge Jones. Bring rakes, wheelbarrows, spades, shovels, and other gardening tools. Also, an extension ladder would be helpful at both True Park and Marge Jones to set up the batting cage.

Cross your fingers for a drying spell!

[Sep 18 2018]   Softball Field Project - Support today!

We are excited about a new opportunity that will help grow softball for girls throughout our Five Town / Camden Hills community!  We hope you will help that opportunity take shape.

We have approval to transform the Hope Elementary School field into a regulation Softball field.  This will provide a home field for our H.A.L. Middle School team (combined 6th, 7th, 8th graders from Hope, Appleton, and Lincolnville community schools) and provide a second, regulation field for use by our Five Town Little League softball and tee ball teams.

Town funding is limited, but we are fortunate to have lined-up a crew of volunteers who have helped with basic site work and will perform the work to transform the infield.  Nevertheless, we need to raise funds to bring this plan to life.  We need to reach our Phase One fundraising goal of $1,500.00 by the end of October 2018.  Please consider making a donation to help us meet that goal.  Here’s how you can help:

  • Please make checks payable to “Five Town Little League,” mark “H.A.L. softball” in the memo line, and mail your check to:  FTLL, P.O. Box 1426, Camden, ME 04843
  • Donate on-line through our Five Town Little League website:  http://ftll.sportsoffice.com.  Click the “Donate Now” button on the main page and follow the instructions.  All donations received on the FTLL website through October 2018 will be applied to the H.E.S. / H.A.L. softball field project

We hope you will help us meet our goal of improving the Softball experience for our whole Five Town Community!  Join in the excitement and contribute today.
