FTLL Baseball -- Majors and Minors

Welcome to the main page for the Five Town Little League baseball divisions.  We have Majors division for 9-12 year olds, and two Minors divisions ("Triple A"/kid-pitch and "Double A"/coach-pitch) for 7-11 year olds.

[May 04 2021]   Minors Baseball Weeks 1 & 2 plans

All-player practices will begin the first week of May. The players will be divided into two groups based on age. 


7-8 Year olds:

  • Monday, May 3, at 5:30: All-player practice and evaluations
  • Wednesday, May 5 at 5:30: All-player practice   


9-11 Year olds:

  • Tuesday, May 4 at 5:30:  9-11 year olds, All-player practice and evaluations 
  • Thursday, May 6 at 5:30:  9-11 year olds, All-player practice

For the sessions on Monday and Tuesday, Coach and Assistant Coach volunteers will be on the field to assess the players to be placed in AA Minors (Coach Pitch) or AAA Minors (Kid Pitch)


Thurs. May 6 / Friday May 7:

  • Parents will be notified which division their player is in (AA Coach pitch or AAA Kid pitch)

Saturday, May 8: 

Division practices and team announcements    

  •      10 am: Practice for AAA Minors (Kid Pitch)
  •      1 pm: Practice for  AA Minors (Coach Pitch)   
  •       Teams will be announced at the end of practice.

Please be sure to be read through Five Town Little League's "Covid-19 Health and Safety Guidelines", posted here:  With so many people on the field at once, it's extra important for players to continue to maintain safe physical distancing and wear face coverings at all baseball games and practices.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

All Minors practices and games are at True Park Field (133 Church St., Hope)

All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application so Little League can complete a background check.  Please complete the application and provide to FTLL president Rick Thackeray as soon as possible -- either complete/save as a .PDF and email to, or print/sign and provide a hard copy to Rick, Joel Dufour, or Dana Jackson next time you see one of them.  The application can be downloaded at

[Mar 05 2021]   Appleton Resident Scholarship Info

Children from Appleton may be eligible to have their Little League registration fees covered through the generosity of the folks with the Jeff Landwehr Memorial Fund.   Priority for assistance from the Landwehr Fund assistance is made based on expressed need and availability of funds.  

All Appleton residents wishing to be considered should select "scholarship" during registration.
